Who we are

Kindred is a pre-launch project being established as a Canadian federal not-for-profit corporation. Until incorporation completes, the waitlist is operated by the founding team. Contact for anything in this notice: kindredmatching@gmail.com.

What we collect

Exactly what the waitlist form asks: your name, email address, phone number, metro area, and, if you choose to provide them, your specific city or town, age range, and how you heard about Kindred. Nothing else is collected through this site, and there are no advertising trackers on it.

Why we collect it

Two purposes. First, to email you about Kindred's launch and your place on the waitlist. Second, to count registrations by metro area, which determines where Kindred launches next. The optional age range helps us understand the shape of the early community; it affects nothing about your place in line.

Where it lives and who sees it

Waitlist entries are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the founding team. They are not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to anyone else, full stop. If Kindred's incorporation completes as planned, the list transfers to the incorporated entity under this same notice.

How long we keep it

Until you join the platform at launch, ask us to remove you, or the project winds down, in which case the list is deleted.

Your choices

Email kindredmatching@gmail.com at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Deletion requests are honoured without argument.

Changes

If this notice changes in any way that matters, everyone on the waitlist is emailed before the change takes effect.
